The Advertising Standards Authority's codes make every party to an ad responsible for it being identifiable, and the Fair Trading Act treats a post that hides its commercial nature as misleading. That exposure is yours as well as ours, which is why the ad label is one of the six checks and never optional.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Every paid post is tied to a receipt in the poster's own name, matched against the product in the post. That is check one and check four, and a post that fails either is not paid for.
The member owns what they made, on their own account. A reshare right is something we ask them for rather than take by default, and the exact wording sits with the lawyer.
The receipt has to be real, the account has to be public, the follower band is verified against the actual account at first payout, and the post has to stay up. The rate is also published, so there is no hidden upside to inflating anything.
Every post passes six checks before any money moves, including that the product in the post is the product on the receipt and that the post is labelled as an ad. You only pay for posts that pass.
It stays yours. The wallet funds posts that pass the checks, and anything unspent is not consumed by a platform fee.
At the published rates, $5,000 a month buys the mix of 62 pieces set out above. Your own number depends on which members take part and which formats they choose, so it is arithmetic you can check rather than a forecast.
